I am hoping with this blog I can keep everyone in touch with the ups and downs of our family.
Today we found Google (our turtle) a new home. With caring for Jayden all day, I have very little time for all of our critters. I am one of the biggest animals lovers there are, so it makes it difficult to even dream of getting rid of our animals. But I have to do what is best for them. What free time I have away from Jayden I either have "mommy time" for myself or I spend it with Rufus and Sadie. So it just isn't fair for the animals to never get attention. Plus with having a turtle it requires a lot of tank cleanings, and I just don't have the time for that. We have talked about getting rid of Kona (our bunny) but I just don't think I can do that. He's such a sweet baby. So I think we will just hold on to the rest of our animals and the bigger Jay gets the more independent he will become and the more time I will be able to give to our animals. I know Jayden will love them all when he gets bigger. He already loves Rufus and Sadie to death, so once he gets bigger he will be able to play with the other critters too.
Anyway...9 days until Josh's 30th birthday. What to do, what to do. I had an extra special surprise planned but it looks like it may not happen. Of course only time will be able to tell.
Jayden is approaching 4 months old, and he amazes me every day. He is the light of my day. No matter how bad my day he, is always makes me smile. He's getting more vocal every day. I couldn't imagine my life without him...How did I live before him?!
As far as myself...Not much to tell. I have tons of dreams and goals, but it seems that other things always come before them. I am hoping that I can work on getting my own lil business started. It isn't much but it would be nice to have some extra money going into Jayden's account again. I want to work out of my home so I am always home with Jayden, but I don't want a job at home that I am working all day, that it still takes time away from him. I still want the freedom to go out and do things with him, when we want to, or when the day is nice. I was working with a friend designing websites for clients, but after a bad experience with one, I am unsure if I want to keep on. It was great money, but it really did suck my entire day...and with Summer coming, I am not going to want to be tied to the computer 24/7. I guess only time will tell when it comes to me.
Well I guess that's it for now. :)
